R2 Design was started in 2003 in San Luis Obispo, California. The idea to start the company came from the desire to not design for a client, but to design with the client. After taking the time to get to know the business, the clients and the products, it was clear that this approach was different from many other designers.

From 2004-2006, R2 Design joined with Reywire Design to be able to offer clients a more diversified and advanced product. After three years, many satisfied clients, and a diversified portfolio, it was time for R2 Design to go off in its own direction.

In 2007, R2 Design took off! Through word of mouth and lots of satisfied clients, R2 Design was able to complete a wide array of projects including but not limited to a book cover design, a signage program for a shopping center, as well as a complete marketing/branding strategy for a new product line.
